Below is the full victim impact statement written by Jean and Terry Cusworth, the parents of Jennifer Cusworth. She was 19 when she was was killed in 1993. Neil Snelson, 45, was convicted of manslaughter and will sentenced today in her murder. Yesterday in court her Mother read the statement below. They are two letters Jean Cusworth wrote to her daughter's killer: one was written just before Jean's first Mother's Day after Jennifer’s murder, the other was written in 2001 on the eighth anniversary of her death. This is a pretty powerful read but I urge you to read it, it wil give you a taste of a parents grief ~ Christy
